Chinese people say that unless you visit the Great Wall then you haven’t been to China. For any visit south of the Yangtze River; one place not to be missed is the town of Wuzhen.Located in the centre of the six ancient towns south of Yangtze River, 17 kilometres north of the city of Tongxiang, the Water Town displays its two-thousand-year history in its ancient stone bridges floating on mild water, its stone pathways between the mottled walls and its delicate wood carvings. Also, setting it apart from other towns, it gives a unique experience through its profound cultural background.

It is said that people have lived here for 7000 years and over time it has produced a galaxy of talents. Mao Dun, an outstanding modern Chinese writer, was born here and his masterpiece, ‘The Lin’s Shop’, describes vividly the life here. In 1991, Wuzhen was authorized as the Provincial Ancient Town of History and Culture, so ranking first among the six ancient towns south of the Yangtze River.

The uniqueness of the town lies in its layout, being 2 kilometers long and divided into six districts. These are: Traditional Workshops District, Traditional Local-Styled Dwelling Houses District, Traditional Culture District, Traditional Food and Beverage District, Traditional Shops and Stores District, and Water Township Customs and Life District. Wandering along the east-west-east circuit created by these six districts, you will enjoy the atmosphere of the traditional cultures and the original ancient features of the town that have been preserved intact.

Bridge in Bridge

One may be amazed at the extraordinary scene of Bridge in Bridge created by two ancient bridges, one of which is Tongji Bridge crossing the river from east to west and the other is called Renji Bridge running from south to north and joining the former at one end. Either of two bridges can be seen through the arch of the other, hence the name. Having been rebuilt five times, Tongji Bridge is a 28.4-meter-long and 3.5-meters-wide one-curvature arch bridge, with a span of 11.8 meters . Renji Bridge, which has also experienced historical repairs, has a length of 22.6 meters , a width of 2.8 meters and a span of 8.5 meters .

About languages
There are three languages in Guangdong Province,  including cantonese ,  hakka and teochew.  Teochew is used in Chaoshan area mainly.  It is a truth universally acknowledged,  that Teochew is more difficult than mandarin.  For the nonnative people,  learning teochew is rough, spending many years to master it is absolute.  Chaoshan area covers an area of a sountheastern plain in Guangdong Province,  whose name is Chaoshan plain .  The Tropic of cancer passes Chaoshan area, so it is impossible to see snow there,  on the other hands, it is common to see typhoon there,  especially in summer,  because it is at the seasides.
About history
Long long ago, when Chaoshan area was very poor, the ancestors had to find a new way to seek surival, so they traveled far away across the sea, went to the Kra Peninsula to make money. Nowdays many Chaoshan people have relatives in Singapore, Thailand and so on. At that time,the people who stayed at the hometown were worried about the people outside, so they worshiped deities to pray their relatives for safety. Therefore,most Chaoshan people are superstitious today, especially in countryside. Now Chaoshan people worshipes deities at the beginning of every month and the middle of every month to the lunar calendar. Besides, every solar term, they worshipes deities , too.  In addition,Chaoshan people are traditional, which bring about low divorce rate.

About local music
About music, Chaoshan area have its national music.  First,  it is Chaoshan big gong and drum.  The music is leaping vigorous and full of excited emotion,  and it is usually played in the Spring Festival.  To be honored, Chaoshan big gong and drum appeared on CCTV.  Besides,  before and after Spring Festival, Chaoshan big gong and drum and deities parade the streets. At that time, the streets is very lively. Second, it is Chao Opera, which is a opera playing in Teochew. The old man in Chaoshan area usually watch Chao Opera on TV, which is a popular entertainment in their daily time.Also,  theatrical troupes perform Chao Opera in front of ancestral hall on holidays.
About food

Concerning food, the biggest characteristic of Chanshan food is fresh. Due to Chaoshan area is at the seaside , seafood is universal. Chaoshan food is lighter than other places in China.They eat hot pot in the winter ,  but they don’t need hot pot bottom material. Chaoshan people have no habit of eating spicy food. Out of lunch and dinner time, Chaoshan people often drink Kung Fu tea, which is a tea different from other places in China. Every family has at least one tea set at home and they must make tea when guests                             come to express their welcome for guests.
Chaoshan have many characteristic things besides what I introduced, above. Chanshan area is a well place for those who like characteristic things.

As a tourist attraction, the Changbai Tianchi never lack of tourists, but because the legends about the water sprite, Tianchi is always covered with a layer of mystery.

In 2002, in the slope, north of Changbai Mountian, two local people found “monsters”. In 2005, water sprite appeared again. The witnesses said it was like a whale or a submarine. In 2006, the “Monster” swam in the North Korean side of the water. It was channeling up and down, just like a water seal. From the telescope, it looked black and not very big. Somebody said it like a dinosaur, somebody considered it as a big iron, others thought it was a Buffalo. It disappeared in the water for ten minutes. At that time, more than one hundred visitors saw it. In 2013, hundreds of visitors saw two monsters playing and swimming in the Tianchi’s lake.

Somebody thought the so-called monster is only an illusion, others thought that this is a way to attract the local tourists. Is water sprite really in Tianchi’s lake? Let’s take a closer take about Changbai Tianchi.

Famous Tianchi is located in the Changbai mountain peak volcanic vertebral at the top of the body and it is China’s largest crater lake. Tianchi is surrounded by many peculiar-looking peaks. Every year, there will be a spectacle that the fire could run out of the water. It’s amazing! For the material in the lake is in contact with water, and it will produce flames. Not all tourists can see the spectacular sight of Tianchi, Tianchi’s climate varies from minute to minute. Sometimes within one day, or even an hour, weather may change several times. Just or sun point-blank, anxious to bake, suddenly the wind come up and the rain fall down. Mountain and lake drowned in the wind and rain.

Because there have been sightings of the water sprite, the scientists set up “Tianchi monster observation station” near the lake. Researchers carried out a long-term observation, and shoot from the valuable data, confirmed that unknown creatures in the water. But what is the specific biological, they don’t know. They got the Tianchi water for many times tests proved Tianchi water without any creature. Since there is no biological, if there is a monster, what it eat? This series of questions that make the Tianchi more mysterious and beautiful, attract more and more people to watch.

Of course, there is a beautiful legend about Tianchi. It is said that a fire breathing devil in Changbai Mountain, the whole mountain vegetation withered, all flames blot out the sun, people’s life were very hard. A girl named azalea, in order to overcome the devil, holding ice drill into its belly, to extinguish the fire. The fire was put out, then the peak into lake.
Is there a monster in the Tianchi？ Up to now it is a mystery. But still many things for us to admire like white clouds, blue sky, clear water and the magic of nature.

From old kaiseki cuisine, lunch dishes, to Osaka Sushi, pot noodles, rice, Add Risotto, altogether with Fish Chowder, baked scones, and fox Face Gel rice, all these contribute to the distinctive dishes beyond count of Osaka. In other words, you name it, they have it.

Roskilde has taken a consicious step at taking festival food to a new level, and their food policy is clear: Both the organic and the sustainable are two important factors- for the festival as such, but also when it comes to the gastronomic scene in Copenhagen where the Nordivc kitchen, with its focus on local organic ingredients, has risen to world fame in recent years.

I am living in Spain, Bullfighting is the most traditional of Spanish Fiestas. The Spanish people consider this art forms which are intimately linked with their country’s history, art and culture.  Pressure groups attempt to lobby against bullfighting yet the King of Spain himself has allegedly stated that the day the EU bans bullfighting is the day Spain leaves the EU.

Bullfighting can be traced back to ancient days. This art popular spectacles in ancient Rome, but it was in the Iberian Peninsula that these contests were fully developed by the Moors from North Africa who overran Andalucia in AD 711. Bullfighting developed into a ritualistic occasion observed in connection with feast days, on which the conquering Moors, mounted on highly trained horses, confronted and killed the bulls.

Romero’s grandson, Pedro Romero, developed all the passes and moves which to this day are seen at a bullfight. He retired in his eighties after killing more than 5,600 bulls without ever being hurt. Thus Ronda is considered the home of bullfighting.

Bullfighting season in the Spain is March to October. In bullfighting season, there are two games will be held every Thursday and Sunday. If it is in the festival and National Day, people can watch it every day.

You can visit the bullring in Ronda which houses a small bullfighting museum. The bullfighting season in Ronda is from April to October though fights are quite infrequent. Check with the tourist office next to the bullring.

Sunny days have always been excellent days for traveling. When sunshine falls on your face, you smell the air as sweet and it brings you good mood. It was exactly such a lovely day that I went to Nanjing.

I went to the Office of the Present, Xianfeng Bookstore and Nanking Massacre Memorial Hall, seeing the famous places that everyone knows. But I was so tired of being surrounded by people. Moreover, beautiful sites full of people made me sick! So I visited some other places that were leisure and made me felt good.

Fancy a sup of tea? Enjoy a cup of Longjin tea by Xihu is fantastic for tea-lovers, isn’t it? How about having a cup of British tea in an old city like Nanjing? Nanjing combines not only ancient and modern culture, but also national and international factors. A British tea house called Annvita lays in Zhongshan Road No.100, Qinhuai district. After having several busy days in study and work, come to Annvita and have a cup of rose tea with your friends, chatting and laughing…How relaxing it is! Look at the picture below, flowers are blooming on the teapot and cups, the beauty of them brings more relaxation to your heart. No sooner had my bad mood vanished than I saw the cups and the dessert.

It was a great experience walking under phoenix trees. Finding a quiet place to wander around in such a short break wasn’t easy. Everywhere was crowded. Phoenix trees have been thought to be the courtyard ornamental plants since ancient days. And nowadays they are always used to green the roads. They bloom in April. According to legend, phoenix trees can sense the leap year: they grow 12 leaves on each branch in common years, but 13 leaves on each branch in leap years. However, it is confirmed to be coincidence finally. But phoenix trees can sense the autumn is a truth. When their leaves fall down, we could tell that the autumn is coming.

Get tired after walking all day? Then just sit down and have a good meal in Nanjing Restaurant, we call it Nanjing Dapaidang! Here you can try local and special food of Nanjing. The restaurant was set up in 1994, and it has never changed its menu since then. Its decoration is like old inn, it’s so “Nanjing”. You feel as if you had come back to ancient days sitting inside. There I tasted Slice lotus, it was sweet. As a Cantonese, I like sweet food so it just suited my taste!

Furthermore, wandering around university in Nanjing is a good choice, I think. Even the schools are full of ancient breath. Take the picture on the left for example. It’s a building of Nanjing University. It’s an old school and it has fostered many intellectuals. Chinese brick houses are seen everywhere in the university.

1. Taohua Island
This island would be ordinary if the writer Jin Yong had not mentioned this name is his famous novel. But today, this name have been a classic memory in many people’s heart. You come to here and feel you are in the novel.
So, in the island, there are some human landscapes that are related to this novel. As many TV series have been took in there, the filming sites become an attraction, such as Taohua Village. Jin Yong has written words for Taohua Village, which become an attraction.
Except the human landscapes, I want to introduce you natural landscapes. One is the beach Tawan Jinsha. Tawan Jinsha has very fine sand, the sand was soft and pure. Some people take sea bath, sand bath, sun bath or just walk around.

2. Dongji Islands

As the name Dongji shows, is the east pole of China in a sense. So it means the first sun light of China in a day would be seen in here. In the Dongfushan Island, which is the most east inhabited island of Dongji Islands, when sky is dark, come to a beach, face the east, sit or stand, listen the sound of the sea, enjoy the slow time, wait for the sun rise. When the sun is rising, everything around you will be amazing beautiful. And the special of the sun rise in Dongfushan Island is that you can say it’s the first.
In Dongji Islands, there is a scenic spot that is called Sea of Potala Palace. It’s many stone house tier upon tier and like the Potala Palace if see it in the distance. However, stone houses are scattered in the whole island. Stone houses with green plants grow together, that’s what you can see of the building in Dongji Islands.
There is a couple, they are moved by the honesty and pure of people in these islands, so they leave big city and settled down in the island. The couple opened a small hotel in this island, live with blue sea, vast sky and kind-hearted people everyday.
3. Nanji Islands
