Hip-Hop came from New York 19 Centuries 60’s.From the word Hip-Hop can we know the meaning which is like dance. Hip-Hop just has been through so many years  ,nowadays,Hip-Hop is becoming a sort of attitude, fashion ,music and sport so on.
Hip-Hop was came from street. Black people have no a truly better life than most white people, they are living in the ghetto ,or we can say hood. They have no enough money to pay the ticket for club, so they are dancing on the street, t hey have no money to play basketball in the park, so they are playing on the street ,they are also like to singing on the street ,so many elements was combined then to be the Hip-Hop.

“To me ,Hip-Hop is really important. Especially the music, which we call rap.”Jeanguy Said.
“A rap has beat ,sometimes it also has some DJ scratching. Rap has so many genre, which are gangster, hardcore, old school and west side or east side. Everybody think that rap is full of sex ,cash and violence but they have no seen the essence of rap.”
Jeanguy is a black guy who intends to be a rapper, he focus on it so hard, concentrate his spirits in every single second. “A famous rapper Eminem who only had 2 dollars in the Christmas day before he came to be famous but he ain’t quit ,he was trying so hard, finally he got a shot, he seized that opportunity. Now he is a billionaire.”Jeanguy is just like Eminem ,he left France for China to hold Hiphop shows in Dalian, he now works in Beijing.

Mentioned the influence of Hiphop to our lives, he gives me three points.

 

1. Dressing style

In China,You can see more and more teenagers wearing loose T – shirt and jeans, a pair of cool basketball shoes and a hiphop cap on his head. The hip-hop culture lovers and others formed a sharp contrast.

2. The selection of music

Those who like hip-hop music people often hold a negative attitude towards China-pop and K-pop. They always like the songs full of the strong rhythm, emotions.

3. Attitude to life

Most of them pursue hedonism and gratification, like to live in the present .Express the dissatisfaction to the social problems as they realize there is one.
In the end, Jeanguy told me:“Hip-Hop has changed people’s live and it has a extremely big impact to us. If you all think that Hip-Hop is dressed ridiculous and it is all about negative things, you are all wrong. Dressed like a Hip-Hop or act like a Hip-Hop that does not mean anything ,Hip-Hop is more about what is the way which you are going to take that  can make your life diffirently and more better. No matter what is the issues ,you will confront it,never and ever surrender to it .Anyway, Hip-Hop may not means so much to you but it surely means to much to me.”

At 2014 Chinese Spring Festival, a traditional festival, a girl continuous rotation from the beginning to the evening party end left us a deep impression. Her stage name is“ Xiao caiqi”, Yang Liping’s niece, who is a famous dancer. Through out the Spring Festival Evening performances, she kept rotating in four hours. Because of this , she was called “time female.” Recently, a girl came from Ningbo to challenge her. The girl to continuously rotate six hours and she broke the record which “Xiao caiqi” set. Why they can rotate many hours without stop?
Reason one

On the one hand, her usual trainings make some help. Technology Site “Nutshell network” friends, zhitao Gen, who get a master’s degree in neurobiology Beijing Normal said:” Dizziness are usually caused by people circling motion sickness, and the reason is same  caused by the nature of playing the game, both are derived from the sensory nerve balance – the vestibular. Our head have a move, these “weeds” followed Akira, the brain will know.” Along with beautiful melodies, ballet dancer tiptoe rapid rotation, when they stop, they can stand firmly. For this mystery, British scientists recently made a related study. They found that long-term practice of rotation allows ballerina change the relevant parts of the brain so to help them alleviate the vertigo. This discovery inspired scientists to develop a new method for the treatment of chronic vertigo. So people who want to rotate many hours must to practice again and again. If you want to be the next “Xiao caiqi”, the one thing you must do is practice.
Reason two

On the other hand some “tricks” she takes may be helpful. According to professionals, to keep rotating, one of the most important trick is eyes must always looking at an origin. This always called “stay head” in dance. However dancers need to do what when they are rotate? When the dancers on stage rotating, their eyes will stare at a certain point, even if first turn the whole body, their eyes staring at that point must continue until the body turned half, before the head and eyes fierce rejection of the past. This is the key to overcome the circular motion of vertigo. Moreover, keep balance of the body, the ability to control body, are also very important.
Reason three
What is always been ignored is that there are important relationships between the arm and the rotation. Among the rotating action of figure skating, often see rotating at different speeds. Some experts said this is mainly related with the angular momentum, when performers folded hands, reducing the moment of inertia, so that the angular velocity increases, the faster. Pictures from the show and we can also see “Xiao caiqi” arms slightly open, with a slight lift of rotation, “which to some extent can help her keep the body balanced.”

Painting art has the magical energy to keep our souls sweet, and then there are tough difficulties as same time as splendidness in the life. When the outstanding painters used kinds of pigments to draw their innermost worlds, they´re absorbed in happiness from colors and ideas. In this time, it is not important for them to worry about difficulties and troubles in lives.

Van Gogh (Dutch: Vincent Willem Van Gogh, 1853-1890), the Dutch post-impressionist painter. He is a pioneer of Expressionism, and deeply influenced the twentieth century art, especially Fauvism and German Expressionism. Van Gogh’s works, such as “Starry Night,” “Sunflowers” and “crow’s wheat”, is now among the world’s most names, ranks of well-known works of art. He voted the greatest among the Dutch in 2004 and ranked 10th, behind the great 17th-century painter ninth Rembrandt.

1861 Van Gogh began to education, learning languages, including French, German and English performed well, but in March 1868 interrupt their studies, and in July 1869 in the international art dealer company trainee. After a brief teaching career, he became a missionary, missionary to the poor miners. Until about 27 years old, Van Gogh began his career as a painter; However, during the last decade of his lifetime, but the creation of more than two thousand paintings, including about 900 paintings and 1,100 drawings.

Early Van Gogh only in dark colors to create, until he met Impressionism and Neo-Impressionism in Paris. Van Gogh integrate their bright colors and style, created his unique personal style, especially Van Gogh stayed in Arles, France during that time, the development has matured. His most famous work is his most creative in his last two years, Van Gogh during mired in mental illness, and his last in his 37-year-old that year, he directed a way to commit suicide.

Van Gogh’s later life is full of hardship but it feels wonderful paintings showing abnormalities, giving others hope and warmth. Viewers can get some encourages and power to live more colorful. In painting, he was detached from the mundane chores outside, he is free and happy. Painting has changed Van Gogh, it also changed a lot of people. Survey shows that people generally believe that, compared with the black and white thing, the color in daily life brought swap effect is irreplaceable – it is inseparable from the role of decorative landscaping brings color and pleasing effect.

We can get inspiration from Van Gogh: Even when faced with hardship, you can also create a beautiful color, as long as we focus on their loved ones career or hobby, is not bound tie him down, life would not be so bad, or even bring happiness to others. Like paintings, like with their own interpretation of color, but also infect yourself with color, but the infection to others. So painting in the colorful world and painting the world colorful. The art of painting can change our life.

Today, Tom’s colleague Lin invited Tom to a Chinese restaurant. Tom was pleasant to see the delicious Chinese food. Near the end of the dinner, Tom saw Lin picking up the water lily, which was used to adorn the dish.

“ Is it edible?” Tom asked.

“ Of course, It’s made of radish.” Lin answered.

“ It’s amazing!” Tom tasted the “water lily”, and said“It looks like a real water lily.”

“ This is one kind of Chinese art——Food Sculpture.” Lin introduced to Tom.

“ Can you tell me more about it?” Tom says. He looked very interested.

“ Food Sculpture can date back to the Spring and Autumn Period,and expanded in the history. Its finished products mainly include Flowers, birds, fish, insects and various Chinese style buildings .” Lin said.

“ What does it used to carve?”  Tom was more interested.

“ It commonly uses two categories of foods, one is fine texture, firm and crispy, pure color roots, stems, leaves, melon, fruit and other vegetables. Other is both edible, but also for viewing cooked food such as egg products. But the most common is the former.”

“ That how can……” Tom continued asking, but he was disturbed by Lin. Lin waved his hands and said: “ No.No.No.I’m not proficient in this, I think we can ask the chef. Let’s go to find the chef.”

Then, Tom and Lin visited the chef and asked him about food sculpture detailedly.They knew that chefs’ carving technique is based on their experience and gradual improvements. There is not short time cut. In order to learn this art, on the one hand they have to practice using carve knife; on the other hand, they also need a certain artistic attainment, learning some knowledge of the composition, and the ability to observe and control the expression of the image. the constant practice and lessons are acquired, so that improve in their daily lives, in order to truly master this skill. Tom also watched the chief carving the water lily and learned it. The chief held a radish, and cut it with a carve knife quickly. A little minutes later, a “ water lily” appeared with a glimpse.

“ It’s so quick and difficult .” Tom shouted.

“ It’s always. Food Sculpture need practice more and more. But if you are interested in it, I advice you to do some easy and creative carves. Such as use cherry tomatoes to create rabbits.” The chief encouraged Tom.

“ It sounds great. Can you tell us?” Tom asked excitedly.

“ Of course. But we must do it after work. Or my boss will drive you away.” The humorous chief agreed.

“ Oh, the Boss come.” They shouted and laughed.

“Besides gardening and painting, I don’t know a thing”.——Monet

Lately there’s an art exhibition called “Master of Impression—Claude Monet” held in Shanghai, which contents most of Monet’s famous artworks like “Water Lilies”, “Wine of Bordeaux” and “House of Parliament” . Additionally some of  his collections and personal belongings are also on display.

This art exhibition started at 8 March in K11 Art Space and it will last until 15 June. All the exhibits are provided by Marmottan Monet Museum, 52 paintings are divided into five themes, named as “Monet’s Friends”, “Monet’s Caricatures ”,  “Monet’s Voyage”, “Monet’s Garden”, “Monet’s Ultimate” based on a timeline of Monet’s life, displayed in two showrooms. The first showroom mainly includes his earlier works and landscape paintings, can be considered as a preparation for his Garden works. The second one mostly contains his later works created in Giverny when Monet reached the peak of his career, with flowers and water as the subjects. At the first weekend it has attracted more than 6,000 art lovers. The set decorator Margo thinks that Monet’s art has the power to make people slow down and feel it, approach it.

In the first part you can see some paintings from other impressionism masters. Like Eugene Boudin, Monet’s first teacher on oil painting, his “La Plage De Trouville” is on show. Also one of Renoir’s most famous paintings “Blonde Node” and some other portraits. These paintings used to be Monet’s private collections and also, serve as witness to his friendship. The second part is kind of interesting. People once knew Monet well for his caricatures, and the most famous one is “Wine of Bordeaux” showed on this exhibition. Additionally, Monet’s palette, pipe and glasses, all these personal belongings make this display area more meaningful. The third part, however, is consist of 14 landscape paintings created during his tour. This period plays an essential role in Monet’s painting career, he painted the same scene over and over in various lights and different times. In that, most of his paintings in this period are known to the world.

One part that really impressive in this exhibition is the series of water-lily and the Japanese bridge paintings created in Monet’s old age, his most depressed period. Monet spent the rest of his life at Giverny and his garden seems to bring a great inspiration. Especially the series of “The Japanese Bridge” on show. You can see him played with light and shade, changed canvas with the changes of light. So the cross of light and shade created flexible tone on these paintings. With the falling of eyesight, the use of color in Monet’s paintings are also getting deeper and bluer, leading to a unique style on his works.

The most interesting thing is,  people always can not recognize the motive of his bridge paintings immediately,  but after they look at the name and observe it again,people start to marvel at how amazing they are. Even you are familiar with artworks in some other way,  you may still experience a number of surprises and feel touched at the moment you facing them. So while the sun is shining,  while the spring breeze blowing,  it is time to find the beauty in Monet’s garden,  feel the art in your soul.

End Of The Century

Edvard Munch said:“I want to describe the kind of touched my heart. I do not draw lines and colors I see, but the things I have experienced.”

Firstly, I will introduce Edvard Munch whose deadee is printed on the Norwegian krona. He was a Norwegian Symbolist painter,printmaker whose intensely evocative treatment of psychological themes built upon some of the  main tenets of late 19th-century Symbolism and he greatly influenced German Expressionism in the early 20th-century. Do you know him? If you are unfamiliar with this name, it does not matter. You must hear of The Scream , his best-known composition. The Scream is one of the pieces in a series titled The Frieze of Life, in which Munch explored the themes of life, love, fear, death, and melancholy. Once Munch described his inspiration of the The Scream,he said :“once evening I was walking along a path, the city was on one side and the fjord below. I felt tired and ill. I stopped and looked out over the fjord–the sun was setting, and the clouds turning blood red. I sensed a scream passing through the nature, it seemed to me that I heard the scream.” He suffer a lot when he was young, so his character is despair and anxiety, it is the reason why his works are full of the themes of life, love, fear, death, and melancholy. Art historian called Munch the “end of the century”, because his works reflects the spirit of a whole generation of European in the aspects of their life. No one dared to describe the naked ugliness of the human instinct by making the coexistence of good and evil and beauty and ugliness as him. This is why his deadee can be printed on the Norwegian krona.

The Father Of Painting

Andrea Bain Once commented:＂Frankly,Caravaggio’s work marked the beginning painting.＂

The next great painter is Michelangelo Merisi da Caravaggiot know who he is. But if you have ever traveled to Italy, you might see him on the coin. He is a famous Italy painter from the early 16th century to the 17th century. His artistic career began after all masters of the Italian Renaissance had dead. He is a distinguished Italian realist painter. He studied in Milan to study painting from painter Virtue Bolzano. He inherited the tradition of realism, folk painting, and influenced by the Venetian school in the northern Italy. Between 1593 and 1610, he was active in Rome, Naples, Malta, and Sicily. Caravaggio was known for realistically capturing moments of human emotion and painting the drama of psychological relationships. He broke the conventional styles of depicting the saints and used ordinary people as models, painting them with realistic detail showing the Saints’ common humanity. Though he was highly esteemed by other artists of his time, his deviation from the idealized styles of 16th century Mannerism brought up much public criticism. s technique and use of tenebrism influenced the development of the Baroque school of art as well as the paintings of many artists including Rubens, Rembrandt, and Velazquez.

His works includes The Calling of St. Matthew, The Conversion of St. Paul, The Supper at Emmaus and so on. In 1920s, painting critic Roberot Lungi once again brought his name to the public eye. Lungi said:＂If there is no him, nor is Ribera, Vermeer, La Tours and Rembrandt. Without him, Delacroix would entirely be another way to depict Courbet and horses＂. In Many large art museums, a few room hung with his works with dramatic lighting, ordinary models, faithfully depict nature. Many famous painters inherited the style of Caravaggio.

Now, I believe that many of you know why he can be printed on the Italy coins. Both of them are great and valuable deadee. They keep us living, not only in substance, but also in spirit.
