Sheffield in Australia was a relatively backward area. However, the residents of Sheffield revitalized their homeland by Art. After discussing how to reform and innovation, at last some residents proposed to develop the tourism in order to attract more people to come. An inventive style of Art—Draw mural painting came up later. With the remarkable improvement and great effort, the town has realized its blueprint.

Inspired by the story of Chemainus, a small Canadian town that had through mural art, rescued itself from ruin, the Kentish Association for Tourism (KAT) worked valiantly on the vision to combine the arts and tourism to revive and reinvent the town of Sheffield.
Sheffield has become a major tourist attraction due to it being promoted as a “Town of Murals”,[5] based upon the instrumental contributions of the Kentish Association for Tourism (currently known as Sheffield Inc) and local tourism pioneer Brian Inder.
The first town mural was painted in Sheffield in December 1986. Since then over 60 murals depicting the area’s rich history and beautiful natural scenery are painted on walls scattered throughout the town and buildings along the roadside. The murals attract an estimated 200,000 people to the town annually.
In the heart of Sheffield, there are a number of studios open to the public where visitors can watch the artists as they do their work. There are artists of every discipline, including photography, fine art, glass, woodcraft, pottery, ceramics and specialised crafts.[8]
The International Mural Fest art competition has been held annually since 2003 and returns in April each year. A poem is selected which the artists use as their inspiration. After each competition the 9 finalist murals remain on display at Mural Park for approximately 12 months until the next competition.[9] In 2012, an interactive mural and workshops were added to the artistic activities of the festival for the Mural Fest 10th anniversary celebrations.

Murals can be a relatively effective tool of social emancipation or achieving a political goal. Murals have sometimes been created against the law, or have been commissioned by local bars and coffeeshops. Often, the visual effects are an enticement to attract public attention to social issues. State-sponsored public art expressions, particularly murals, are often used by totalitaruan regimes as a tool of mass-control and propaganda. However, despite the propagandist character of that works, some of them still have an artistic value.
Murals can have a dramatic impact whether consciously or subconsciously on the attitudes of passers by, when they are added to areas where people live and work. It can also be argued that the presence of large, public murals can add aesthetic improvement to the daily lives of residents or that of employees at a corporate venue.

At 1980, he was appointed as the Boston Pops Orchestra nineteenth commander, since 1993 has served as the orchestra conductor emeritus retirement. As we all know, Hollywood movie world started in 1911(Maybe American began to make films before 1911) and it got its”Golden Ages”in 1930s. Obviously, the movies which made by Hollywood’s teams are always regarded as the “high quality product” by movie lovers. Although Chinese Started making movies in 1905, but the “Golden Ages”of Chinese movies hasn’t come yet. To be honest, the war, the poverty in the old society made people don’t have the spare energy to care about the development of movies. So, as for history aspect,Chinese movies are worse than Hollywood’s ones.

Money also plays an really important role in the film making. Both China and America are economic heavyweights. However, while making films, Chinese will spend most of the money on the actor’s(eapecially the cheif actor&actress) salary. As a result,the director don’t have much money on film’s making and propaganda. So,most of Chinese movies only released in Chinese mainland. On the contrary, Hollywood’s movie maker will spend most of the money on the movie making and propaganda. Before a Hollywood’s movie release, the director and actors in the movie may will do some propaganda in most continents of America and even go to Europe, Asia, Oceania to propaganda. And these movies may will release all over the world. So, Hollywood’s movies is popular than Chinese ones and Hollywood’s actors are more famous than Chinese actors to the audiences.

As for social aspect, Chinese government have some political limits on film making. Thus, in some ways, it limits Chinese movie makers’ imagination. Sometimes, audiences prefer the movie which break the pattern. On the other hand, the style of Hollywood’s movie making is more free than that in China.In my personal opinion, someting like “attack the president”, “against the government” which always show in Hollywood’s movies will never show in Chinese movies, however these kinds of thrilling scenes always catch the audience’s sights. As for this aspect, I think Chinese directors really miss many chances to make better films.

In addition, technology is also a assignable point. Hollywood’s fiction films really do well in the special effects. But, to be honest, Chinese’s movie technology level is nowhere near the Hollywood’s, Chinese’s special effects look a little fake and unsuitable, so while the audience are watching the film, they can’t really focus on how the story goes, instead, they always complain about the unprofessional scence making.

Compare the Chinese movies with Hollywood’s, we can figure out the weakness of Chinese ones. Only by finding the weakness can we develope the Chinese movie market more effciently. Nowadays, college students(like students in our college) start to make some micro films by themselves, by realize the weakness of Chinese movies, these college students can explore the way to overcome the difficulities so that they can make better movies.

Please remember, the future of Chinese movie belongs to the young, as long as the young explore the “new way”, the Chinese movie market will get better!(of course I hope this article can give the young some inspires and help someday)

Gondola is the most unique ship in Venice with a very long history .Learning from the first governor in the17th century .In the traditional , the designs of the appearance of gondola had all sorts .In the century of 16 , gondola was extremely beautiful, the nobles often took these which were decorated with station and silk to show off their fortune .This phenomenon had a very bad effect on the society .In order to change this extravagant lifestyle ,a ban had been made by the senate of Venice :Nobody is allowed to display of wealth by the gorgeous decorations on the gondola ,these has been decorated must be removed and should be painted in black. This traditional has been remained from this time .Thus we usually see gondolas are black in union ,only on special occasions ,they will be decorated resplendently.
Nowdays ,this ship usually has 5 meters long and 9 meters wide .The bottom of the boat is asymmetrical , so we can keep balance through the single slurry one side .In the past ,there would have a movable awning the prevent the visitors from the sun and rain while now this aspect is disappear . Taking the gondola is an extremely expensive way ,so most people choose a much cheaper vehicle ,small water bus.

Miyazaki,the famous Japanese animation director,was born on January 5,1942,in Tokyo.He had four brothers,and ranked second among them. Miyazaki’s mother was smart and kind of strict.Hayao Miyazaki’s brother recalled later that when he saw the pirates mom in film”Sky” ,he could not help but think his mother as their personality were similar in some ways.In 1963, Hayao Miyazaki graduated from college and entered the Toei animation.He put forward many proposals but were ofen rejected by others.Fortunately,he still stick to his original dreams and never give up to the difficulties.Finally in 1964,he became the Secretary General of Toei Animation Workers Association.

In the past, I had been conquered by the movies which showed the darkness of human. I has thought that was the truth of life, and thosebeauty, warmth and dedication were just for teenager to read and enjoy. Adults need more abstract thing.

Because I think in this way, I think I grew up. So I threw all the fairytale books and to learn the rules in the adults’ world eagerly. I often laugh at those people who have poker faces, and consider that they are either out of date or make a pretence . Therefore , those fairytales with the ending of “Price and princess will live happily together forever ”can be no longer developed dry more. They afraid that if they develop the story, it will destroy its essence.
I get used to the story without beginning and ending, or a specific point, which I enjoy myself by devoting nothing in.
I has already weaker enough to believe that the existence of the love, hardly believing that the promise of eternal love.
However, in the depth of inner mind, who indeed do wish these fairytale are not ture? Who will not eager to the existence of true love? That is the reason why the old man Hayao Miyazaki has popular for years.

Traditional Chinese music and modern Chinese music have many differences. Here is a brief look at some of the differences.
First, traditional Chinese music often uses traditional musical instruments such as erhu, flute, and drum and so on. In traditional orchestras, the combination of all the different instruments served to create a harmonious and beautiful auditory atmosphere. Unbelievingly beautiful music was made and is still made. Many instruments can produce purely unique and amazing sounds. Some famous traditional pieces have been amassed below for your listening pleasure. Modern Chinese music uses piano, violin, guitar and many new musical instruments. Sometimes people use different instruments to create new music in order to give others special feelings.

People play traditional music when they think of old days and during traditional festivals. Today, many singers work for their companies. The companies help them make records. People can buy the records to listen and also can go to the singers’ concerts.

In traditional music, musicians write the songs, but they don’t play the songs themselves. And in modern music, singers write the songs themselves or they can invite famous singers to help them. The companies they work for also help them write songs.

Traditional music often tells about new life, good times, beautiful hometown and so on. People play it to show their love for country, life, nature. Modern music is about the busy city life and young people’s love. People express the emotion of wanting to love and to be loved by playing the music. But in some modern songs, we don’t even know what the singers sing.

Chinese music is changing all the time. It follows the fashion of the day. We should open our ears to the beautiful Chinese songs.

There are many kinds of TV shows, but expressions vary from country to country. Owing to the population of China is large, Chinese TV shows have to more close to life and meet the need of different people. But today, good shows is lack. When an amazing TV show enters Chinese TV market, it is easy to become hot. Many Chinese TV shows study from other countries. For example, “The Voice of China” is from Holland. And this foreign TV show mixes Chinese characteristics. In this way, it attracts many audiences to watch it weekly and provides a dream stage for ordinary people who love singing. Many people who are from this stage become a real singer and now have their own cruise concert. It is worth learning from foreign TV shows, because they have many novel ideas.

And American and English TV series are popular in China too. They are the same with Hollywood movies, many people are addicted in them. “Friends” is a success. “Friends” theme cafe is even set up in many big cities in China. All in all, many aspects show that public media industry is also a culture industry. Exchanging western and eastern culture will make it better. TV has many opportunities and challenges. We should communicate deeply and look forwards to Chinese TV. I believe it will bring us more surprise.
