The first time I know ang lee is because of a movie “wedding banquet”, which is a popular play about traditional ethics, entirely in Hollywood Chinese movie. If i remember clearly, it was a summer vacation ,my brother and i watched this film together.My brother is Lee’s fans .He said Lee is crazy about adventuring, take “wedding banquet” as an example,the story is in Chinese sensitive topic – gay and lesbian issues, but he hold was in place, he used the Chinese unique ethical point of view to deal with this problem, made the tragedy turned into comedy, and won the audience’s consistent high praise

After entering university, in the classroom of “analysis of the film” ,he teacher told us that “crouching tiger, hidden dragon” is his writing career of watershed, and there are big differences in his early movie.In early movie ,he give priority to family and the father-son relationship.And start from the “crouching tiger, hidden dragon”, lee unconsciously into the subconscious level. In his middle age, the love, desire, all take turns from “crouching tiger, hidden dragon”, “brokeback mountain”, and rushed out of “lust, caution”. Here, I would like to briefly introduce three films. “Crouching tiger, hidden dragon” is the Chinese martial arts kung fu, but there is no general martial arts films that thrive of heroism, instead of looking for runescape humanities connotation of a kind of deep thinking and reserved; “Brokeback mountain” is about the complicated relationship between two men love and sex; “Lust, caution” is more than the 40 s of Shanghai during the Anti-Japanese War as the background, tells the female college students turns (tang wei) using beauty close to Mr Yi (Tony leung) intention to assassinate the traitors. “What the hell is that?” Those words came from my friend Lily, when we went to an art exhibition and were standing in front of a tiny soap box lying in the glass case, which looks completely the same as the soap box we use today.

“I don’t know,” I answered her, as I was confusing as well.

Actually in the late 20th century, there was a similar artwork called < Brillo Boxes >, being put in an art display by a well-known artist named Andy Warhol. It soon triggered a heated discussion about the definition of art. Later on, a new word – “pop art” was born, and it also opened a new era of modern art.

However those new arts do not aim to give you a peaceful, pleasant experience like classic arts. Mostly they want you to be shocked, to feel something new. As a result, some of the artworks seemed entirely “ridiculous”. Here we got some examples.

If you are not an art student, you probably know little about Piero Manzoni, an Italian artist. He put his excrement into 90 cans, numbered them, and sold them as artworks. In 2007, No.18 can was sold at 124,000 euros in Sotheby’s auction (an art auction house in London), this price was as expensive as gold. This “artwork” called “Artist’s Shit”, at the same time he made another one called “Artist’s Breath” which is actually a balloon full of his breath. Now modern artists don’t need to be highly-skilled as ancient artists. All they need is a creative idea, no matter how crazy it might be. A Chinese fireworks artist called Cai Guoqiang held a fireworks display called “One Night Stand” by the Seine River in Paris. He found 50 couples (volunteers) from all over the world and asked them to make love in tents on a yacht. This romantic artwork was popular among French as it related to the French culture. You see, modern artists are usually adventurous and ingenious.

So the next problem would be: how to identify whether an artwork is worthy of appreciation or not? The answer is: Take it easy. Appreciate what you like and forget about others. This is an age full of personalities, and people show their talents in different ways. Nowadays “Everyone can become a celebrity for 15 minutes” (Andy Warhol). If you got a brilliant idea and you are willing to put it into practice, you might be the next artist, who knows?

 

Rembrandt Van Rijn, one of the greatest artists of all time. He has been called “the painter of the soul.” It is the spiritual quality of his work that has contributed to his fame. The work is a mark of respect to the virtue of clemency, and to the love of a father for his son. The story is one of the parables of Christ that describes a father who divides his fortune between his two sons. The good stays at home and saves his money, leading a respectable life. The bad son, by contrast, wastes his inheritance on the pursuit of morally wrong activities, reduced to a state even worse than his father’s servants. In poverty and despair, the prodigal comes home in a state of humility and remorse to be forgiven by his aged father. In many Russian’s eyes, watching ballet performance is a divine thing that should be given enough respect. Women tend to prepare the clothes and haircut many days before the performance. Men also need to wear a suit and a tie, if they were lucky enough to watch a famous show. If a woman has watched a very good show, that show may become a topic she would frequently mention about during the rest of her life.

We are usually influenced by the quiet and solemn atmosphere in the theater, and that atmosphere always makes us feel like we are waiting for a coming moment of an important historical affair. Quietly looking forward to the start of the performance, we see the stage curtain is opened, accompanied by the applause from the audience. The guests that were invited in this program had won the gold medal of ninth “TaoLiBei” competition. Guests showed their high standard of skills and exquisite dance to the audience through a wonderful opening show, which enable the audience to have a refreshing feeling. And the enthusiastic applause from audience also suggests the popularity and superb skills of them.

“TaoLiBei dance competition” has the highest specifications in domestic youth dancing competition, and it is a professional dance competition that is hosted by China’s ministry of culture. “TaoLiBei” is a subclass award of Chinese culture art government Wenhua prize award, and it is also one of the most important awards in awards of culture and art colleges. It was held initially in 1985 by the Beijing dance academy, and it is held once every three years, at the same time it has a good reputation, people consider it as the “Oscar” in China.

Firstly I would like to introduce the gold medal winners in group A in Chinese national folk dancing. They are Bian Jiang, Luo Wenbo, and Liu Jing.

Bian Jiang, 19-year-old, comes from Beijing dance academy. He won the gold medal of “TaoLiBei” national folk dancing in group A of young men’s competition. He’s from Hengyang but he stayed in Beijing for seven years. His winning dance was called Korean “Spare Crane”. After dancing there was an interaction between guests and audience.

Next let’s introduce the Liu Jing from Henan province. He is 17 years old, from Beijing dance academy. He won the gold medal of “TaoLiBei” national folk dancing in group A of young group’s competition. His winning dance was Tibetan dance. Due to this dance has a transfer technique, the host also want to try this action. Then they also invited the audience to try this action.

Then the host Tian Yuan showed a Mongolian dance called “Pentium”.

The next guest is LuoWenBo who comes from Heilongjiang province. She’s 19 years old and she won the gold medal of “TaoLiBei” national folk dancing in group A of young women’s competition. Her winning dance was Han dance. It told aa story about a husband who join the military and leave his family during revolution time. This dance used the vocabulary of tea-picking in Jiangxi province. And it also modeled a specific woman lived in revolution times.

Finally let’s introduce the teacher who won the gold medal of “TaoLiBei” classical dance choreography. His name is Hu Yan. He’s 29 years old, comes from Beijing dance academy. During the last “TaoLiBei”competition, his <Kong yiji> and <Bookworm> won the gold medal of dance choreography.

The host asked him some questions on the stage. And he said, “the characteristics of classical dance is gradually developed from the ancient palace dance, but in the Ming and Qing dynasties it was classified into the other arts like acrobatics, rap, many forms of art, and it actually means that court dancing was already lost. After 1949, due to our older generation of artists purified and refined the dance from operas and martial arts, our present classical dancing system has been gradually formed.”

With the rapidly development of globalization, the desire of material which is from the bottom of human’s hearts become more and more enormous. A word thus emerges, luxury.
In an area known as the luxury, people are likely to think of a famous brand, Louis Vuitton, at once. So let me take you to the wonderful Louis Vuitton’s kingdom that you guys will see this noble world in a blur.
Louis Vuitton, which was set up in 1854 in Paris, France, was founded by Louis Vuitton who was born in a poor village family. Because of the Second Empire in France, magnificent ball was popularizing in Paris. A majority of aristocratic lady wanted to find something to carry their gorgeous big dress more convenient, therefore, Louis Vuitton was born during this agitation. Mr. Vuitton invented a flat box with a handle with intelligent which replaced a large as well as heavier wooden box in the past. His box was not only durable and convenient to carry, but also brilliant and elegant, thus Louis Vuitton became hotter and hotter. Something to be mentioned, Eugenie de Montijo, the wife of Napoléon III, appreciated Vuitton’s rich talent, after that, she swore that she would just customize jewelry box from Louis Vuitton.

As far as I am concerned, facing the global financial crisis, Louis Vuitton’s incumbent chief inspector should publish some plans to deal with this problem. For example, he can change some styles which is different with old style before. Because I think that Louis Vuitton is changeless. It can not only fresh the product style but also make customers’ eyes brightened. If there is no change, I don’t think that Louis Vuitton can get attention all the time.
